Learn Shorebird Identification the right way! I will provide you with a systematic, structured approach to identifying shorebirds. We will cover topics ranging from aging, moult to migration. These three things are critical when id'ing shorebirds and shouod be considered every time you see one!
We will cover all common, as well as uncommon and some rare Newfoundland species. The goal of this workshop is to improve your confidence in your shorebird identification, by providing you with all the key information needed to identify North American Shorebirds.
No previous experience with shorebirds is necessary! Anyone from novice to intermediate birders will find this workshop useful.
There will be a combination of both classroom and field sessions.

1 full day field session (approx 8 hours) (travel to field session by carpool)
